The Solution was created when I was living in Brussels, after a longer stay in Kyoto. I brought it back with me to Japan and kept it as a symbol of my life in Europe. Now that I work with colours in Tokyo, I feel I can pass it over to others.

The canvas can be hung directly on a wall. A frame is not necessary. I didn’t use colours in the beginning of my painting journey, which was one of the reasons I came to Japan for, to study black and white traditional art. I was intimidated by colour, but little by little back in Europe after my first stay in Japan, colour started to come out of me and I discovered the energy that it can bring. This painting is about this energy.
