About Beatrix Fife

Born in Stockholm in 1964, she grew up in Rome and in Paris, with Norwegian and Anglo-Italian parents.
She studied music, theatre and visual arts in Paris, Oslo and Budapest, French linguistics, and Japanese arts in Brussels, Besançon and Kyoto. She has been living in Tokyo since 2010, where she explores the boundaries between the conscious and the unconscious, chance and control, going inside oneself and going out of oneself … in the realms of different cultures and ways of understanding human life.
