About Amy Sow
I was born in 1977 and live in Nouakchott, Mauritania. I started painting, drawing, taking photographs and making art installations in 1999, to fight and to denounce violence against women and children. I have created the art exhibition and exchange space called the « ArtGallé »in Nouakchott. Art is for me the best way to express my freedom.
